Silvia Maria Rovere, Chairwoman

Graduated with honors at the Faculty of Economics of Turin, she has gained twenty-five years of experience in private equity, real estate finance and asset management.

She is founder and CEO of Equita Real Estate (formerly Sensible Capital), an advisory firm for investments in illiquid assets, with a specific ESG focus.

From 2017 to July 2023 she has been President of Assoimmobiliare and in this capacity she founded, at SDA Bocconi, the RE Innovation Lab and the RE Innovation Academy.

At SDA Bocconi she is responsible for the Real Estate Asset Management track and for the Executive Master of Finance.

From 2003 to 2005 she was CFO of Patrimonio dello Stato S.p.A., with responsibility for the program of public real estate funds and financial instruments for the enhancement and privatization of the State's real estate assets, in close collaboration with the Directorate General of the Treasury (Ministry of Economy and Finance). Subsequently, she was in London as Head of Business Development of the Aedes Group and from 2009 to 2013 she held the role of General Manager of REAM SGR S.p.A., an asset management company controlled by the CRT Foundation and other banking foundations belonging to the Piedmont region.

She has also gained significant experience in socially responsible finance having set up and managed two of the first social housing funds launched in Italy.

Alongside her professional activity, she has constantly carried out academic and research activities for, among others, the Department of Economics and the Department of Commercial Law of the Faculty of Economics of Turin, the L. Einaudi Research and Documentation Center of Turin, the Master of Real Estate Finance of SDA Bocconi and the Res Publica Foundation.

She has been a member of the board of directors of numerous companies in the financial sector.

She is a fellow of the Urban Land Institute and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a board member of the Institute for International Political Studies.

She is Chairwoman of the Board of Poste Italiane S.p.A. since May 8, 2023.
